Montreal Wedding Cupcake Tasting

Our first formal wedding cupcake tasting was held on Sunday March 1, 2009 at the store where I now bake our cupcakes. Six couples were in attendance, and a great time was had by all! Unfortunately I did not have a chance to take a photo of the setup before the tasting started and I was so busy talking to the participants that this is the only photo taken during the tasting. I am hoping to make this a monthly event (at least during wedding planning season) so hopefully I will have some better photos next time.

Wedding Cupcake Tower:
- Chocolate cupcakes topped with peanut butter frosting and either handmade fondant swans or bows
- Vanilla cupcakes with vanilla lavender buttercream
- Mini lemon cupcakes with green tea buttercream

Top cake and ribbon on stand were all ivory with beautiful ivory butter cream frosting to match on the cupcakes. This wedding cupcake tower was so elegant and simple. More photos of this later the lights were dim at the reception sothe photos i took didn’t work out very well, bride sending me some from the photograher.
