Phew….after a long day in the kitchen I have finished the cupcake tower for my father in law. The top cutting cake is a 6″ Fruit Cake with a guitar topper and music notes surrounding. The 80 cupcakes are 50% vanilla and 50% chocolate – both with contrasting chocolate shavings on top. This is my first cupcake tower – fingers crossed he likes it! Lovely cupcake cases – from Jenny at Icing Works.

ps – sorry for rubbish photo – i had to assemble it all just to see what it looked like – lighting was bad – will try to take a better photo at the venue tomorrow Continue reading
